Our Approach…
A not for profit charity, Karelle Life Enrichment Service was founded in 2003 in order to bring creative solutions to the needs of adults with intellectual disability. Over time, that brief was extended to children and young people without a disability, in out of home care.
Since then Karelle has expanded into a range of services for children and people with intellectual disability. This includes our latest venture into training and employment services for people of all ages with an intellectual disability.
Our vision is to develop products and services that offer our members greater engagement within their community.
As an innovator in the provision of services to people with intellectual disability and children and young people in crisis, Karelle Life Enrichment Service recognizes the potential in each individual and is creative in developing responses that meet REAL need.
Our services are geared toward creating opportunities for community participation by encouraging, and building on, the abilities and strengths of each individual.
With little direct government funding, we rely upon fundraising, corporate partnerships and donations from the community.
